Daily Indigenous programming is bringing stories, teachings and traditions to life at Heritage Park all season! 🪶☀️ Throughout the season, you can learn from First Nations, Inuit and Métis voices through storytelling, traditional teachings, demonstrations and cultural sharing. No two visits look exactly the same. Here’s what may be happening: 🪶 Take part in daily smudging and learn about its meaning and significance 🪶 Step inside the Métis Trapper Tent and discover the etiquette connected to the space 🪶 Learn about tipi etiquette and the teachings held within these important gathering places 🪶 Listen to stories that connect Indigenous histories, cultures and living traditions 🪶 Meet the interpreters and community members sharing their knowledge throughout the season On select days, Elders, Knowledge Keepers, artists, performers and community partners also bring additional teachings, stories, art and cultural traditions to the Encampment. 📍 First Nations Encampment 📅 Daily throughout the season 🕰️ Varied times 🎟️ Included with General Admission or a Heritage Park Membership Check the Daily Activity Guide and plan a visit through the link in bio!
