Meet Brian:⁠ ⁠ ❓️ Tell us a little about your recent bartending ventures before Keefer!⁠ ☺️ "I moved here in 2021 and I’ve pretty much been working in Yaletown the entire time. I started at the Yaletown Distillery (R.I.P) and that’s where I learned most of my classics. From there I went to Per se Social Corner and then on to Bartholomew which was my home for the last 3 years. Safe to say I feel most comfortable in a dimly lit cocktail bar!"⁠ ⁠ ❓️ What's your favourite cocktail to make somebody for their first time? ☺️ "50:50 Martini. I’ve been trying to convert as many people as possible to enjoy vermouth in their Martinis. I love a 50:50 because it’s a nice lower ABV option that’s very sessionable.⁠ Similarly, I love the Adonis Complex on the Summer Prescriptions because it’s a beautifully layered & textured lower ABV cocktail."⁠ ⁠ ❓️ When not behind the bar, you can be found...⁠ ☺️ "With a Guinness in one hand & a pool cue in the other…"⁠ ⁠ ❓️ Which 3 restaurants/cocktail bars are on the top of your list right now?⁠ ☺️ "Just recently had the best Oysters of my life at Bar Tartare (@_bartartare).
